Message: I've got some teacher tips:
Order a dozen - partner up your kids. They can name their antlion. Use a sieve and you can get plenty of good clean sand from the playground. Put each antlion in a tall plastic glass with 1/2 sand and name taped on side. Use plastic eggs to collect ants at recess.

Message: I really enjoy these antlions, it's fascinating to watch them dig their pits, and even more fun to watch them eat ants and bugs. One of the cool side effects of having ant lions is that I'm finding out about all the different insects around my house as I hunt for ant lion food. Thanks for everything!

Message: These antlions are quite a great suprise I came across on ebay. Never knew you could own them this easy, and boy am I glad. My antlions are powerful as all, tossing ants out of the pit almost 8 inches with their powerful mandibles. Doddlebugs for life.

Message: Adam had ants and spiders all over his house, so we collected them and fed them to the ant lions in his backyard at 3 in the morning. We know, it's a bit unfair, but he had to show me how cool ant lions are. Plus, Adam really wanted to see who would win: A giant spider or a TOTALLY SWEET ANT LION! THEY'RE JUST LIKE THE SARLAC PIT FROM STARWARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
